Mr Aloysius Lee is presently the Chairman of the One Belt One Road Center Singapore, set up by Fascade Global Master Pte Ltd and a Director of the Grene Group Pte Ltd, a project development company of One Belt One Road Center Singapore. He is also a Partner of Grandsky Century Pte Limited, an F&B company, as well as a Partner of the Institute of Unretiring Professional Ltd, a Hong Kong based think tank. From 2015 to 2017, Mr Lee was the Group Chief Executive Officer and Executive Director of Millennium & Copthorne Hotels plc, a global hospitality management and real estate group. From 2015 to 2017, he also served as a Non-Executive Director of Millennium & Copthorne Hotels New Zealand Limited and CDL Investments New Zealand Limited, both of which are listed on the New Zealand Stock Exchange, as well as a Non-Executive Director of First Sponsor Group Limited, which is listed on the SGX-ST. Mr Lee has also served as President and Chairman of the Board of Grand Plaza Hotel Corporation, which is listed in the Philippines, from 2015 to 2017. Prior to that, Mr Lee was the Chief Executive Officer of South Beach Consortium Pte Ltd., a joint venture established to create a mixed use real estate development in Singapore. He also previously held senior leadership positions at Shui On Land Limited, HKT Limited (previously known as Hong Kong Telecom Limited and PCCW Ltd), Star Cruises Pte Ltd, Sun Cruises Pte Ltd, and Singapore Airlines Limited. Mr Lee is a fellow of both the Chartered Management Institute and the Chartered Institute of Marketing, and earned a master degree in business administration from the University of Hong Kong. He also holds management qualifications from Harvard University and the University of Hawaii. |
Ms Jean Wong Director, Front Office, Operations, |
Ms Jean Wong began her first foray into hospitality as a receptionist at The Westin Plaza and Westin Stamford, after graduating from Victoria Junior College. After being promoted to Management Trainee, she acquired experiences in whole hotel operations from Housekeeping, Laundry, F&B, to Finance as well as Security. Deciding to specialise in Front Office operations, Ms Wong grew in expertise to become Duty Manager, then Assistant Front Office Manager. She continued to front guest interactions across various facilities within Conrad Centennial Singapore as a Front Office Manager, and Ritz Carlton Millennial Singapore as a Rooms Division Manager. Ms Wong is currently in Fairmont Singapore as Director of Front Office operations, in charge of Front Desk, Fairmont Gold, Concierge, Bell Desk, Spa & Fitness Centre. She was selected in 2019 as a candidate of the Accor International Hospitality Management Program (IHMP), which develops potential leaders and General Managers through dedicated learning and development sessions. She has completed the 18-month programme and graduated in September 2020. |

Armed with more than twenty years’ experience in leadership, learning and development, change management, job redesign as well as strategic human resources, Mr Leslie Lenus strongly believes that the four most important qualities of a strong HR professional are Patience, Resilience, Aptitude and Passion. He is currently a Hospitality and Tourism Industry Panel member with Nanyang Polytechnic and Hotel Human Capital Advisory Committee member with the Singapore Hotel Association. Under his leadership, he attained the SkillsFuture Employers Award 2020 which recognises exemplary organisations that champion employees’ skills develop and promotes a lifelong learning culture. On 27 August 2021, he was awarded the prestigious Enabling Champion Award 2021 (one of the four recipients in Singapore), at the inaugural Enabling Mark Awards Ceremony 2021, graced by Her Excellency, President Halimah Yacob. This award recognises leaders who have made commendable efforts in integrating talents with disabilities. |
Ms Margaret Heng |
Ms Margaret Heng is concurrently the Chief Executive of SHATEC effective December 2011, and the Executive Director of the Singapore Hotel Association (SHA). Ms Heng has been with the Association for more than 30 years. She works closely with the SHA Board to implement directions and policies set by the Board. Her responsibilities include working closely with the membership to implement projects relating to manpower, productivity, marketing, image building, human resource training and development, service quality, environment, fire safety and security, conducting research, making representations, and dissemination of information. In addition, Ms Heng also liaises closely with government departments, statutory boards and other associations and private organizations on behalf of the membership. She is also is the Immediate Past President for Asia Pacific Council on Hotel, Restaurant and Institutional Education (APacCHRIE) Board. Ms Heng was conferred the Public Service Medal (PBM) Award in 2007 for her contribution to the National Fire and Civil Emergency Preparedness Council, and the Public Service Star (BBM) Award in 2017 for her work with the National Crime Prevention Council (NCPC). Her contributions to the Singapore Standardisation Programme was also recognised in the SPRING Singapore Merit Award in 2014. |
