Messages from Award Recipients:

Balasubramanian Swathi – WSQ Diploma in Food Services (Pastry and Baking)

“After completing my SHATEC education, I will bring to me the skill of versatility to my future workplace–to go with the flow and never resist change.”

Eden Lee Jun Yang – WSQ Diploma in Food Services (Pastry and Baking)
“It is important for us to have an enterprising attitude. During the Circuit Breaker, I baked bread and distributed them for free to senior residents living in my estate. I continue to hone my skills whilst doing my part for the needy.”

Islyana Binte Ismail – WSQ Diploma in Hotel and Accommodation Services (Part-Time)
“I chose to upgrade my skills at SHATEC to elevate my career prospects and follow my passion for continuous learning. It also helped that the hands-on experiences I’ve gained were relevant to my current job!”

Aloysius Tan Wei Jie – Diploma in Hotel Management
“We will impact the lives of others as future leaders of the industry. We may be transient figures to guests and customers, but we must strive to add value to their experiences.”

Tan Mei Ling – Diploma in Pastry and Baking
“Each one of us shines differently. Continue to be the star of our own making and charge towards your dreams! Never give up while we are on this upwards and onwards journey.”

Muhammad Farhan Bin Mohamed Fauzan Diploma in Culinary Skills (Part-Time)
“Studying part-time at SHATEC gave me the opportunity to meet people from diverse backgrounds, and opened me up to shared experiences and differing perspectives.”
