Course Outline

In this 4-hour workshop, you will learn how to prepare colourful and intricately shaped Soon Kueh, Png Kueh, and Koo Chai Kueh from scratch. These kuehs are not only pleasing to look at but are also mouth-wateringly delicious to eat as snacks anytime, anywhere!

You will cook the following:

Teochew Kueh 1
Soon Kueh


Steamed dumplings made of rice and tapioca flouw skin filled with savoury turnip, bamboo shoots and dried shrimps

Teochew Kueh 2
Png Kueh


Steamed peach shaped sticky dumplings made of rice flour skin, filled with glutinous rice, peanuts, mushrooms, and dried shrimps

Teochew Kueh 3
Koo Chai Kueh


Steamed dumplings made of translucent rice flour skin, filled with chives and juicy chicken meat
