Admission Requirements
1. Qualification
- Obtained at least a Grade 'E' at GCE 'A' Levels in any subject or
- International applicants must have completed 12 years of formal education or
- SHATEC WSQ Diploma in tourism/hospitality related discipline will be considered for advanced standing or
- WSQ Diploma and Diploma in tourism/ hospitality related discipline from other PEIs will be considered for advanced standing or
- WSQ Diploma and Diploma from other PEIs in non-related disciplines with minimum 3 years of relevant work experience will be considered for advanced standing or
- Polytechnic Diploma Holder in any field of study in Singapore will be considered for advanced standing or
- BTEC Level 5 Higher National Diploma in any field of study
- Mature candidates ≥30 years old with 8 years of relevant work experience. (Supporting documents must be submitted upon application.) or
- Other professional qualifications, private or foreign qualifications will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.
2. Successful Interview

Interview may be waived for applicants who has successfully completed any preceding WSQ Certificate level(s).
3. English Proficiency
At least one of the following proficiency levels in English:
- At least a D7 in GCE O-Level English or equivalent
- Band 5.5 in IELTS
- Online English Placement Test conducted by SHATEC
- Pass in SHATEC English Test
