Course Description


You will get the opportunity to learn the history of the wines and explore the culinary technique of preparing beef with Béarnaise sauce and making mashed potatoes.

Who Should Attend

This course is designed for people who want to discover the art of cooking meat and selecting the perfect wine to complement their dish. Participant(s) must be at least 18 years old and above, i.e. legal drinking age in Singapore.

Course Objectives

This course provides you with the knowledge and skills to confidently pair wines with meat dishes, whether you are dining out or cooking at home. Additionally, the class aims to inspire an appreciation for the sensory and artistic aspects of pairing that can elevate the cooking experience.

Course Outline


The trainer will demonstrate the grilling of the steak/poultry process and provide essential insights on choosing the ideal wine to enhance the flavors of the dish. After the demonstration, you will apply their newly acquired skills to prepare these delectable dishes and enjoy them with your dear ones during the Christmas celebrations.

You will bake the following


  • Beef + Wine Pairing (For individuals who cannot consume beef, they have the option to substitute it with chicken)

  • Two types of red wines with roasted beef with bearnaise sauce and mashed potato
  • or
  • One red and one white wine with Roasted whole chicken and oven roasted potato wedges
