“In spite of the economic outlook and the future of inflation, we are feeling very positive about the long-term fundamentals of the travel and tourism industry, coming out of COVID.”
Mr Jesper Palmqvist
Senior Director Asia Pacific, STR
“Sustainability is hard to simplify into an all-or-nothing. There are many things that will create tangible value and things that will cost more - it runs a gamut. You have to step into the unknown, when implementing the company’s ESG.”
Mr Eric Ricaurte
Founder and CEO, Greenview
“Hotels waste a lot of energy, contributing not just food waste, but also heavy water and energy usage. Greenwashing is also a big problem worldwide, not just in our hotel industry, so attaining sustainability certifications is important.”
Mr Choe Peng Sum
Chief Executive Officer, Pan Pacific Hotels Group
