In line with the Singapore Green Plan 2030, the Hotel Sustainability Roadmap by Singapore Tourism Board (STB) and Singapore Hotel Association (SHA) envisions a leading sustainable hotel industry that is transformative as well as drives competitiveness and growth.

Keynote Speaker and Panellist Mr Roi Ariel Mr Roi Ariel has been focusing on responsible travel and sustainable tourism over the past decade. In his current role, Roi manages GSTC's memberships, partnerships, communications, and operations. This includes working closely with key governmental agencies and influential companies to mainstream and promote adherence to sustainability standards in travel and tourism. He previously worked with UN-ESCAP researching sustainable development and green growth in Southeast Asia, and on sustainability issues with the Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA). He also served as the Green Economy Initiative Advisor for EcoPeace Middle East in Israel, as well as sustainable tourism advisor around the world including China, Madagascar, Israel and Taiwan. Roi holds a bachelor's degree in International Relations and Comparative Religion from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem and a master's degree in Applied Economic and Social Development from the National Chengchi University in Taipei. |

Panellist Mr Addy Dutta As a member of the Hotel Executive Committee, Mr Addy Dutta leads the Department of Engineering, Risk & Security, striving to make the 26-year-old facility a heritage marvel with modern technology while staying efficient and reducing its Carbon Footprint. Addy is appointed as the Lead for the IHG Singapore cluster hotels to support and provide advice on best practices on Carbon Reduction, which helps improve the overall Responsible Business metric performance across the IHG hotels in Singapore & Batam. |

Panellist Ms Joyce Chung Ms Joyce Chung is responsible for the initiation, conducting, and reviewing of all Agriculture, Food safety, Aquaculture & Fisheries and other sustainability-related schemes for sales of audit activities. She oversees the sustainability efforts of an organisation by fostering cooperation among internal departments or community partners and creating campaigns. With its foundation in agriculture, Control Union Certifications has focused its efforts in developing services around the sustainability of the industry's supply chains which feed into the food, feed, forestry, biomass, bioenergy, social compliance and textiles markets. |

Panellist Ms Ragini Devi Ms Ragini Devi has 30 years of experience in the Singapore Air Force, Investment and the hospitality industry. Since 2010, she has risen through the ranks at Accor Group from Rooms Division Manager, Executive Assistant Manager in 2017, to Hotel Manager in 2020. Rajini has a leadership philosophy grounded in building strong business acumen and efficient solutions. She also believes in empowering and developing others to achieve effective results together by injecting the culture of lifelong learning into the organisation. |
Moderator Ms Stephanie Ang Ms Stephanie Ang has over 30 years of experience in hospitality, education, marketing and organisational development in Singapore and the region. She is currently a Project Consultant at SHATEC, where she provides training, consultation and assessments services. She was the Session Chair for the concurrent session(s) at APacCHRIE Conference 2021 and a Moderator at the SHATEC’s industry webinar series 2021. Stephanie holds a Master in Business Administration (Travel Industry Management) from Hawaii, USA, anda Bachelor in Business Administration (Human Resource Management) from Michigan, USA. She is also a certified teacher and counsellor from National Institute of Education (NIE). |

Moderator Ms Raihan Abdullah Ms Raihan Abdullah has over 28 years of hospitality industry and training experience. Prior to joining SHATEC, she worked in an international chain hotel, The Westin Stamford and Westin Plaza and the KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital, the largest hospital specialising in healthcare for women and children in Singapore. Raihan currently represents SHATEC as an Executive Committee member of the Association of Room Division Executive (ARDE), Singapore. One of her many key achievements at the school includes nurturing and educating numerous batches of students, many of whom have gone out today to become successful and award-winning industry professionals. |
