Overview
The Certificate in Hospitality English is designed for non-native speakers of English who wish to develop the essential linguistic skills to take on careers of choice in the hotel industry.
With emphasis on professional writing skills and business communications, the programme will place students in good stead for further studies at Diploma level and beyond.

Mode of Study
Full Time
The average teacher-to-student ratio is 1:20.
Assessment Framework
Theory and practical examinations, practical exercises, presentations, written assignments, projects and class participation.
Duration & Structure
6 months consisting of:
3 to 6 month Institutional Training
Institutional training covering up to 3 modules consisting of 25-30 instructional hours per week, spreading over 1-2 terms. Each term is 10 weeks in duration, excluding exam and break weeks.
Certification
Certificate in Hospitality English awarded by SHATEC.
