Diploma in Hotel Management

  • 3 GCE ‘O’ Level credits (including Pass in English1)

  • Successful interview
  • Attain minimum GPA of 2.5

  • Pass in internship

  • Pass in WSQ Advanced Certificate in Food and Beverage Service

Diploma in Tourism Management

  • 3 GCE ‘O’ Level credits (including Pass in English1)

  • Successful interview
  • At least 10 years of formal education

  • Band 5.0 in the International English Language Test System (IELTS) or a minimum score of 61 points (internet-based total) or 173 (computer-based total) in the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) OR a pass in Shatec Institutes Certificate in Hospitality English
  • Successful interview

Diploma in Culinary Skills
  • 3 GCE ‘N’ Level credits (including Pass in English1)

  • Successful interview
  • Attain minimum GPA of 2.0

  • Pass in internship

  • Pass in WSQ Higher Certificate in Culinary Arts

Diploma in Pastry and Baking

  • 3 GCE ‘N’ Level credits (including Pass in English1)

  • Successful interview
  • At least 10 years of formal education

  • Band 5.0 in the International English Language Test System (IELTS) or a minimum score of 61 points (internet-based total) or 173 (computer-based total) in the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) OR a pass in Shatec Institutes Certificate in Hospitality English

WSQ Advanced Certificate in Food and Beverage Service

  • Obtain a ‘D’ grade in Shatec Institutes English Proficiency Test
  • At least 10 years of formal education

  • Obtain a ‘D’ grade in Shatec Institutes English Proficiency Test

 

 

Applicants who failed English at GCE ‘O’/’N’ Level or those who do not posses IELTS or TOEFL certification may opt to take the English Proficiency Examination at Shatec Institutes for a fee of S$50.
